Hey guys, it is that time of year again! Every year Team DiG participates in the Extra Life 24 hour charity gaming event. All proceeds go to children's hospitals within the Children's Miracle Network. So, the big question you might be having is,"where do the proceeds come from?" Well the short answer is...you! Team DiG needs your help in sponsoring one of our 3 participants, either Dan, Ben, or Virg. There are several ways that you can help out with this fantastic cause.
1. Monetarily
100% of all your tax-deductible donations go directly to helping the kids at these children's hospitals. The recommended donation is 1$ per hour($24) to sponsor the participants. If you can do more great! If not, every bit helps these kids. Just visit one of our team member's pages below and click "Support Me".
2. Teaming Up
Consider joining Team DiG in this effort. Just visit our team page(here) and join us by clicking "Join this team"! You can make your own page and raise money for a children's hospital in your area and start collecting donations for kids local to you!
3. Prayer Warriors
We understand that times are tough for many out there and you don't have the money to support something like this financially. Fortunately, prayer is free!! Pray that these kids would be healed for God's glory and that all funds generated would be used wisely by these hospitals to help out these kids in need. Pray also for the wisdom of the doctor's who are trying to help out these afflicted children. Also be sure to pray for the family members who are trying to deal with their kid being in a hospital for these days, weeks, even months and years. Lastly, pray that people would come to Christ in the midst of whatever trial they are going through. I came to Christ through my daughters sickness, maybe they can too.
So those are some ways you can help. Even if you are planning on doing one or both of the first two options, all of us should be doing option 3. Prayer changes things.
