No Excuse!

Ever think or say to yourself something like this? "I wouldn't even know where to start or what to say when it comes to sharing my faith." I know I have said it. I actually think that that was a more prevalent excuse I used than having a fear of man or even rejection. Let's look at Proverbs 22:12 The eyes of the LORD keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful. Perhaps your not knowing what to say to start a witnessing conversation is in direct correlation to your acting disobedience of not doing it? Listen guys and gals, don't confuse your not wanting to do something with not knowing where to start. You don't need to worry about what you will say when you share the gospel message. Let's look in Ephesians for your encouragement with this. Ephesians 6:19 tells us, 'Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,' Paul clearly shows that he leans on the Lord for what he will say when sharing the gospel. That is what we need to do. If you try to do it on our own, it's probably better that you don't know what to say anyway. If, however, you rely on words to be given to you by God when you pray for them, what do you have to worry about then except listening to His command to share the gospel? Remember, you aren't going to say anything that will send a non-believer to Hell. They are already on their way there apart from Jesus anyhow. Stop having your words frustrated by disobedience and share your faith today.

Mark 13:10-11 (New International Version)

10And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. 11Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
