When in Rome...

So today is one of those lazy vacation days where we chill out and bum around. Almost too tired to swim, but sooner or later I am sure we will snap out of it.

So the kids saw a commercial on tv for a local comic book store and wanted to check it out, so we jumped in the car and up up and away! Sorry couldn't resist.

After bumming around for a while I got the kids some cards and after paying I pulled out a small stack of are you a good person comic tracts and asked the man running the shop, "these are comics and since it's a comic shop mind if I leave them here for people to take?". He said, "sure" and I placed a stack on the counter and away I went.

As we were leaving the parking lot I noticed the man having a smoke break outside and guess what he was reading? Yup a are you a good person tract!

I pray that he is touched and others might see the importance of repentance.

I hope this encourages you to think outside the box! You don't have to be on a soapbox or doing one on ones always, remember Gods Word will not return void. Get yourself some tracts and get them into peoples hands!

The Holy Spirit will do the rest!

  1. Nice! Something about a comic would seem to make it easier for a person to pick up randomly to read. Great job Ben.
