An Interesting Find-The Introduction

I am a leading archaeologist working in the southern part of Israel, just North of the Gulf of Aqaba. We just came across an interesting discovery. A pile of ash with bloody, skin flake covered pieces of broken pottery. Among the ash he also found some parchment. It appeared to be a journal of some sort. It is quite possibly one of the oldest writings we've ever come across. Day 1 of the journal was relatively clean considering where we found it. We don't understand what it says but the old Hebrew writing appeared to be written by someone who was very content. These writings got increasingly harder to make out due to the ash stains. On some of the pages it looked as if someone were crying as they wrote. We will have to wait for our translator, Eli, to fly in from L.A. tomorrow to find out more.
