Short but Sweet

Judging someone and warning someone about future Judgment, not the same thing.

Hebrews 9:27 (New International Version)

  1. Judgment has always been a touchy subject with people. Some say that we aren't to judge others at all and consider it sin to do so while others say it's okay to judge on certain things, but not all.
I personally fall into the second category here and solely because of the verse in scripture that speak of knowing someone by the fruit they bear.
We are to understand though, the way we judge others is how God will judge us in the final judgment. So be careful in the way you choose to judge people.

  2. Agreed. Pointing out someone's shortcomings according to "our" standards could be conceived as judging, but when they're put up against the Law, it changes things.
